Mission Partners

We know that when he walked on the earth, Jesus cared for those in need.  He called us, His followers, to do the same and to share the good news of His coming with those around us.  St Stephen's has mission partnerships with other organisations, locally, nationally and internationally. We give 10% of all the income given to our church to these mission partners and we have special collections and projects for these and other Christian charities.

We have six core Mission Partners with whom we are building relationships through our actions, giving and prayer:
We also support:
  • Ealing Foodbank, we collect food each week to support individuals and families in crisis. If you would like to donate, please take items directly to Foodbank as we are not able to transport large donations.
  • Ealing Churches Winter Night Shelter, which we host for 7 nights during the cold winter months.
  • Christian Aid  - during Christian Aid week in May we run events and organise house-house collections.
  • Tearfund with special collections and emergency appeals.
  • Annually during Lent we support one special project - most recently it was The Bishop of London's Appeal.
  • Our annual Christmas Bazaar raises funds for a special project. Each year we choose a different charity.
  • Our children's groups in JAM usually collect for a charity each year. In the past we have collected for Ealing Soup Kitchen, St David's Home and St Francis Hospital in Katete.
  • ?Our youth group also supports different charities and social initiatives.
  • The Fairtrade Campaign - we are a Fairtrade church, serve Fairtrade coffee and tea, use Fairtrade products and and have a monthly Traidcraft stall.
  • ?Other UK and Overseas mission charities, with connections to various members of the congregation, are also supported from time to time.
