The Grove Community Church is our church plant based on the western edge of the Parish.  It is run in partnership with the Eden Network and operates under a Bishops Mission Order and part of the Diocese of London.  The Church started in 2016 when Mark and Laura Tate were sent by St Pauls Ealing together with St Stephen’s Ealing to live and minister on the Gurnell Grove estate.

The vision of the Church is to see local residents meeting with Jesus and being discipled. Over the years the Church has seen the birth of various community initiatives including an after-school Kids club, a Community lunch, an OAP club and Bingo Church (a monthly bingo night for residents which includes a short talk and opportunity for prayer).  In April 2022, a weekly afternoon Church Service started meeting in the local Community Centre.

The work of the team has grown, and new staff appointed.  The Grove Community Church is overseen by a group of Trustees including the Vicar of St Stephen’s and actively supported by St Stephen’s church with finance and volunteers from St Stephen’s.
