Vicar's Update

Tuesday 15th November 2022

I hope you are well.
Thank you to all who have now returned their completed financial pledges for 2023. If you have forgotten, can I ask that you return it as soon as possible so that the Church Council can make decisions about next year’s budget. Thank you.
Yesterday we marked Remembrance Sunday at both of our services – you can catch up on line here.   We also said goodbye to two long standing members - Barry and Linnette Coombs have been members at St Stephen’s for over 40 years but are now moving to Hillingdon to live closer to their family.  We wish them well and pray for them.
This Thursday (17th) we are holding a Day of Prayer and Fasting to seek God for his will as we continue to try to recruit a new Worship Pastor and a new Youth Leader.  We would love you to take part and to make this a day when we pray and fast together.  What fasting looks like may vary person to person but however you fast, please do join us in praying together on that day.  To provide a focal point for our prayer on Thursday there will be a time of prayer and worship in Church from 12noon – 1pm for those who can, to gather to pray and listen to God together - all are welcome. We are also keen to know what God is saying to us all so if you have a sense of God speaking in some way please use this link to tell us more
Finally, the Christmas Fair is on Saturday 26th November 10:30am - 2:30pm raising money for the Grove Missional Community. We hope you will come to browse the stalls, meet Father Christmas etc.  If you are able to help out in any way please contact
Have a good week.
