Weekly Update - stamps

Big Green Fair
All are welcome to attend this Saturday 25th September 11am-3pm. There are lots of stalls to enjoy and craft activities for all ages.

Ealing Half Marathon
There is no morning service this Sunday (26th), instead join us from 9:15am until 10:30am as we enjoy the UFO Steel band and cheer on the runners. Tea and coffee will be available and at least three members of our church are running so do come along and support Jason Johnson, Lizzie Rainbow Rogers and Katie Grovners.

Church Council Meeting
Our PCC meets this Monday. Please pray for them as they discuss and work together to make decisions for the benefit of the church and God's work in our community.

Church Library on the move
Reading Christian books is a great way of growing in our faith.  Did you know we have a library of books you can borrow?  It is on the shelves by the sound desk but often gets overlooked so it is moving!  You will find library books on a trolley which will be out in the Centre during cafe time, most weeks.  Come and browse and borrow - just sign to say what you've taken.

Recycling soft plastics
Did you know that you can now recycle thin plastics such as crisp packets, sweet wrappers, plastic film and food pouches that have until now had to be thrown away. Just collect them at home and take them to your local Co-Op (some other supermarkets are also trialing this too).  Details of what can be recycled are here.

TeaTimers
our Friday afternoon café for over 60s is now going again – initially with a mix of ‘in person’ and Zoom – and Friday 24th is ‘in person’ with a Green theme. Click here for more details or contact jane@ststephens-ealing.org

Quiz Nights
Just 8 days away a return of our popular Zoom quiz on Friday 1st October 7.45 for 8. Email with details will go out this weekend and if you don’t normally get emails about quizzes, contact jane@ststephens-ealing.org. (Also save the date: Saturday 20th November Tearfund quiz – to be confirmed whether in person or zoom.)
