J.A.M
Our Junior church group, J.A.M (Jesus and Me) returns on Sunday 12th September. We will initially begin with two age groups: JAM Tots (0-4years) and JAM Kids (5-11years). We are really excited to see the children in person and look forward to seeing everyone.

Teatimers
Teatimers restarts Friday 3rd September, 2.30 – 4pm, with a mix of ‘in person’ and zoom meetings for the first couple of months. Contact jane@maffett.co.uk.

Foodbank
July was a busy month and use of the foodbank increased from June levels. As we are in the school holidays, they really appreciate your continued support to provide food parcels to individuals and families experiencing difficulties. This month's shopping list is attached, listing items they especially need. They have plenty of pasta, soup, baked beans and tinned meat so aren't in need of those items at the moment.

Big Green Fair
As part of the Climate Coalition’s action on climate change we are planning a fair at St Stephen’s on Saturday 25th September from 11.00am to 3.00pm with activities for all ages.  Please mark the date in your diary.  Can you help by collecting used tin cans (the sort baked beans come in; 400g size ideal) and empty cartons (1L size) of the type that milk and orange juice come in?   Collecting box at church or contact Enid Barron  (0208 997 1958, enid@enidmbarron.waitrose.com) More info to follow.

Prayer for the Week
God of glory,
the end of our searching,
help us to lay aside
all that prevents us from seeking your kingdom,
and to give all that we have
to gain the pearl beyond all price,
through our Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen
