Curate's final letter 25th JulySam Sanya1

It was great to see so many of you at both services and at our goodbye drinks and ice cream. It was so special to sing together again for the first time since March 2020. Sorry that our livestream wasn't available for you in real time due to internet troubles, but we have since uploaded the service on our YouTube Chanel which you can now watch here. I preached from 1 Corinthians 12 reminding us that we all have a part to play in the body of Christ so let us discover our gifts and step out and use them to bless the Church. Rachael and I also then shared a song which you can listen to here.

Thank you for loving and welcoming us into your fold. You have blown us away with your love and generosity expressed through your kind words, thoughts, gifts and prayers.

I am especially grateful to Steve and Caroline who have shown me the ropes of Church leadership and to whom I owe an awful lot. Rachael, Hannah and I have found a home and belonging in Ealing and found it easy to say yes to St John's.

We are now getting ready to move house (Tuesday) so your prayers are appreciated as we transition.
I will be licensed at St John's Mattock Lane as Associate Vicar on Monday 6th Sept 7pm - it will be great to see as many as can make it from St Stephen's.

For now, have a blessed week and may you know the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit now and always.
