Revd Urmila Kurkalang
Congratulations to Urmila Kurkalang who was ordained deacon at St Paul's Cathedral on Saturday 3rd July and will begin her curacy at St Matthew's Yiewsley.  Steve and Caroline Newbold and Holly Harrigan were able to attend and there are photos on the St Stephen's Hub.  If you use Facebook and are still not a member of the St Stephen's Hub (our closed group) please do join.

A Message from Urmila
I'm still recovering from the weekend and have only just managed to read all of the beautiful messages. Please could you convey our love and prayers to everyone at St Stephens and thank them for theirs.

People & Planet
We meet on Sunday 25th July, before the summer 'break' with no meeting in August. Our plan is to enjoy a meal together to celebrate the end of severe restrictions, to reflect on what we've done during the Pandemic and plan for our September event for The Great Big Green Week. We'll email members and anyone interested in joining us nearer the time with details.

Eco Tip
You may have noticed that Ealing's parks and green spaces are alive with beautiful 'rivers' of wild flowers and grasses. The Borough's policy is to boost biodiversity as much as possible. Areas that need shorter grass is being mowed (eg football pitches and paths), but the glorious swathes of longer grass and wild flowers is attracting bees, butterflies and all sorts of invertebrates to enrich our natural environment. If you have a garden you might like to do something similar and leave the mower in the shed, sow wild flowers and watch what happens. Walk, watch and wonder at God's wonderful creation!

Prayer for the Week
Creator God,
you made us all in your image:
may we discern you in all that we see,
and serve you in all that we do;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
