Vicar's update 6th July
I hope you are well.
We are continuing our series looking at the life of the early church through the book of Acts. On Sunday Sam Sanya spoke from Acts 9 about the conversion of Paul and how we can all share our own experience to encourage others. You can catch up here.
Yesterday’s news that the Government hope to lift all restrictions from 19th July will allow much greater freedoms and among other things we can soon look forward to singing together in church. We are yet to receive guidance from the national Church of England which will help us decide how best to make local decisions - clearly there are many issues to consider.
Unfortunately, we haven’t yet been able to appoint a new Youth Pastor but I am grateful to Caroline Newbold who has agreed to continue to oversee our youth work for the time being – we will re advertise in September.
This coming week we have:
Morning Prayer on Thursday at 9am
Holy Communion on Wednesday at 11am
Services - 9am and 11am in Church and 11am Livestreamed
JAM – children’s groups 9.30am and 10am.
Youth BBQ at 1pm
If you need any Zoom passcodes please contact me direct.
With my love and prayers
