Vicar's update 27th JuneSteve Newbold1

It was lovely to see more people come back to Church today - do remember that it is no longer necessary to book in advance, simply turn up on the day.

We are continuing our series looking at the life of the early church through the book of Acts.  This morning I spoke from Acts 6 about the how the church needs a structure and for every member to use their gifts to serve the church community.   You can catch up here.

As you know the Sanya family will be leaving us at the end of July.  As we will not have another curate in the coming year, we are going to rent out the curate's house in Drayton Gardens.  Before we do so commercially, please do let me know if you or someone you know would like a short term let of about 10months.

We still advertising for a new Youth Pastor and details are on our website here.  We’d appreciate you sharing this with contacts in other churches if you can.

Urmila Kurkalang will be ordained Deacon at St Paul’s Cathedral on Saturday – whilst we can't all be there in person, we are welcome to join in with the service at 5pm as it is livestreamed: https://youtu.be/5MvzIgwnquI

  • Holy Communion on Wednesday at 11am
  • Alpha on Thursday at 8pm
