Vicar's update 1st JuneSteve Newbold1

I hope you are well and enjoyed the bank holiday sunshine.

Next Sunday (6th June) marks an important date in our re-opening plans as we will welcome an in person congregation for both the 9am and 11am services.  Places for both are limited and so you do need to book in advance online here before Thursday at 3pm.   The 11am service will also be livestreamed for those at home.   For the time being our children and youth groups remain online and JAM is at both 9.30am and 10.00am.

On Sunday Ian Jamieson spoke to us about the life of the early church from Acts 2:42-47.  You can catch up here if you missed it.

As Sam Sanya reminded us recently prayer is the heartbeat of the church, we need it to be alive.  Why not join us tonight for our monthly Prayer Meeting at 8pm for 50 mins? If you haven't got the Zoom joining details, get in touch.

We are encouraged that so many have signed up to join the Members Area of our Church website. If you haven't done so yet please take advantage of this great resource. If you are having any problems getting connected contact Morgen Edwards.

This coming week we have:

  • First Tuesday Prayers tonight at 8pm
  • Holy Communion on Wednesday at 11am
  • Morning Prayer on Thursday at 9am
  • Alpha on Thursday at 8pmSunday
  • Services - 9am and 11am in Church and 11am Livestreamed
  • JAM – children’s groups 9.30am and 10am.

If you need any Zoom passcodes let me know or you can find them by logging into the Members Area of the website and clicking More Information on the event.

Hope you have a great week.
