Vicar's update 10th MaySteve Newbold1

This is Christian Aid Week and if you were in church or watched our online service yesterday you would have heard Ben Selfe from Christian Aid talking about this year’s appeal.    At the 11am Livestream you would also have seen John Anniss doing over 75 press-ups in 75 seconds to raise money for Christian Aid.   You can catch up on all of our Livestreamed services here.
Full details of all that’s going on this Christian Aid week with details of how you can give are on our website here.
This week also sees the start of Thy Kingdom Come – the ecumenical and global prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray from Ascension to Pentecost for more people to come to know Jesus and for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit.  We have put in place a prayer walk that you can do in person or online - details will be on our website.
Our Church Annual Meeting will be held on Wednesday 26th May at 8pm.  At this Annual Meeting we will elect 2 Churchwardens and 3 members to the Parochial Church Council.  Nominations for the elected roles are now invited – see our website here
