As Lent draws to a close please do remember to support this year’s Lent Appeal which is to help combat Modern Day Slavery. Perhaps you have given up something for Lent and have saved money to donate, or perhaps you can give the cost equivalent to a night out? Use a Yellow Gift Aid Envelope and ensure that it is marked LENT APPEAL.
Would you like to come to New Wine this summer and get a place for free? If so why not help out on team? New Wine urgently need team for Stomping Ground, Youth, Pebbles (adult places), Our Place, Access, General Stewarding and nurses and paramedics for the Medical Team. If so do apply at united.new-wine.org/teams.
Our Annual Church Meeting is only a few weeks away on Sunday 28th April at 6.30pm. You now nominate people to stand for election. In particular we need a new Churchwarden to replace Geoff Thomas who is stepping down. Copies of all the relevant documents for the meeting are available on line here to save paper please download them to your tablet, smartphone or laptop and bring them to the meeting. The meeting lasts about an hour and a half and will be followed by cheese and wine.
Have a good week.
