Vicar's update 11th February
We had a great weekend with our children’s party on Saturday and vibrant services on Sunday.
Yesterday we began a new sermon series looking at worship – you can hear the first talk here. At Open to God, we focused on healing and the talk is also on the website.
This is the time of year when we need to review the Church Electoral Roll. This year we have to undertake a complete renewal so everyone needs to complete a fresh application form. You can collect one from church or print off the attached version. Either way you need to complete and sign the form and return it to us by the end of March. It would help if we can get this done as soon as possible.
Do you have a spare room? Ealing Churches Winter Night Shelter is working with Housing Justice, to provide accommodation in host households for their guests who are seeking asylum. There is an Information meeting to find out more on Wednesday 5 March, 7.30pm at St Paul's Ridley Ave, Northfields.
I do hope that you have Sunday 10th March in your dairy. For the first time in living memory we will have a visit from our Diocesan Bishop, the Bishop of London. We will have said Morning Prayer at 9am for any who are really unable to join us later but the main service of the day is a Whole Church Service at 10.30am. Café will precede the service and wine and nibbles served afterwards – do come if you possibly can.
Have a good week and I look forward to seeing you soon.
