Steve's Latest Update

Dear friends
We had a good time supporting the Ealing Half Marathon with our Community Café and Water Station and were delighted to be joined by the UFO Steel Band – here’s a link to them performing on Sunday and to our pictures.  Well done too to the runners from St Stephen’s who all completed in good times and raised money for different good causes.
We have heard that Georgina has landed safely in Bangladesh as she begins her mission trip with Tearfund – please pray for her over the coming weeks.
Next weekend we celebrate Harvest Thanksgiving with a Ceilidh on Saturday and our Whole Church Service followed by our Café on Sunday (5th October) – note there is no 9am service on Sunday and so the Café is after the 10.30 service.    This Harvest, we are again supporting the Ealing Foodbank ( and are asking you to bring gifts from this list.  You may also choose to make a financial offering to the work of Foodbank – please use the Blue Gift Aid envelopes.  We will conclude our Harvest festival at 6.30pm with a special Evening Service.  I hope you will be part of our Harvest celebrations.
Alpha and Youth Alpha begin tomorrow (Wednesday) at 7.30pm – if you haven’t yet invited someone to come please pluck up the courage and do so.  It promises to be a great few weeks.

With my love
Steve Newbold, Vicar, St Stephen's Ealing
