Messy Church
Messy Church at St Stephen’s happens on the second Saturday of each month from 3.30 to 5.30, it’s for children of all ages and their parents and carers.

We start in the Church Centre with crafts, activities and games on our Bible theme for the month. Everyone is invited to join in, to have fun together and get messy as we learn more about God and his Son Jesus.
We then move into the worship area where we praise God in songs, join in stories of his great love for us, and bring our joys and concerns to him in prayer.
Finally we sit down and enjoy a hot meal together.
It’s all fun and relaxed, it’s free, and it’s open to everyone with children of all ages!

Our leaders are all regular members of St Stephen’s. We have a separate Children’s Advocate who oversees our adherence to the church and diocesean Child Protection policy and processes.
