FOOTSTEPS - is our Youth group

We offer a range of activities for young people of secondary school age.

Apart from their own group in Cool Christians on Sunday morning, there are outings,

opportunities to take part in Church life, joint events with other Churches

and activities based on what they tell us they want to do – if we can possibly

set them up!

We are currently running:

First Friday Footsteps - a social evening 7.30 - 9.30 on the first Friday of the month

Next ones planned are:  7th November, 5th December (Bazaar set up), 19th December

(Christmas Party) and 2nd January 2009 

Frugal and Fun Sunday Specials - once a month we have a simple lunch after church -

with a bite size discussion topic.  This is where we also plan our fundraising

Next ones planned are: 19th October, 23rd November.  None in December - replaced

with a Christmas party as above

Outings Planned: 1st November - Bowling, 11th December; - St Paul's Cathedral Carol

Celebration; 2nd January - Ice Skating at Kew

Young people are central to our lives, and vital members of our Church.

For many, belonging to the Church is an important part of learning how to

live together in a community.  Our leaders are a friendly bunch – and work

together with love, care and patience to help our children grow in faith.
